Good policies are possible pt. 1 – Movements

On the program

As authoritarian forces are growing stronger and we are witnessing big tech aligning with authoritarian right-wing leaders, as Europe is rolling back its own ambitious rules on data and environmental protection, it is more important than ever to focus on how we can make progressive policies happen. In this discussion, we will hear from professionals and activists that have been working on campaigns and movements for change, on what we can learn from different European examples of grass-roots organizing. We will discuss how we make good policies happen and how we build movements and strength to make transformative policies reality.
A panel discussion on how we organize for change from outside parliamentary structures, on what the left has learnt in terms of strategy, campaigning and grass roots organizing.
