As authoritarian forces are growing stronger and we are witnessing big tech aligning with authoritarian right-wing leaders, as Europe is rolling back its own ambitious rules on data and environmental protection, it is more important than ever to focus on how we can make progressive policies happen.

In this discussion, we will hear from two prominent political leaders, Spanish Minister Yolanda Díaz and Slovenian Minister Luca Mesec on how they have been pushing through transformative changes in the field of labour market and social policy. We will discuss how we make good policies happen and how we build movements and strength to make transformative policies reality.
